Skiing on the Mölltal Glacier
The Mölltal Glacier is located in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park region, just a few kilometers (9 km) from the hotel. One of Austria's eight glaciers, it guarantees first-class snow conditions, offering ideal skiing opportunities for the general public as well as ski clubs and associations. Our guests receive a 15% discount on a day ticket for the Mölltal Glacier .
The free ski bus - right outside the door - takes you comfortably and without stress to the valley station of the Mölltal Glacier.
Skiing on the Ankogel
Another ski area in the immediate vicinity of the hotel (18 km) is the Ankogel mountain lifts. Families, leisurely skiers, and freeriders alike will find excellent conditions for a perfect family vacation at the Ankogel in Mallnitz. A total of almost 18 kilometers of slopes await discovery at the Ankogel. The Ankogelbahn cable car takes you up to an altitude of 2,637 meters in two stages. There, you'll not only be rewarded with an incredible panoramic view of the Alps, but in addition to the groomed runs, various off-piste options also attract powder hounds to the Ankogel.
Here too, there is a FREE ski bus that takes you directly from the Hotel Flattacher Hof to the ski area!
